Applications are open until March 31, 2026 for the third edition of BioInvestIT 2026, the national forum dedicated to the circular bioeconomy that brings startups, SMEs, and research projects into dialogue with specialized investors.

The program includes a selection phase for the applications, a National Roadshow in the area, and the final Investor Arena Meeting, scheduled in Milan on May 14, 2026, with the possibility of access to a subsequent European showcase.

The Turin leg of the National Roadshow will be held on March 3, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at 2i3T, located at Via Nizza 52 in Turin. The meeting offers an opportunity for innovative projects and investors to engage directly, with the selected project receiving direct access to the Investor Arena Meeting. To participate in the Turin stage, you must complete the application and confirm your presence by February 25, 2026 using the dedicated form.

Applications are open until March 6, 2026, for international startups and companies interested in participating in São Paulo Innovation Week 2026, an innovation, technology, and business event that will include conferences, exhibition spaces, and networking opportunities with companies, investors, and stakeholders from the global ecosystem, which will be held from May 13 to 15, 2026 in São Paulo, Brazil.

The selection is aimed at projects that present prototypes or demonstrable solutions, physical or digital, capable of offering a concrete and interactive experience to the public. Priority will be given to initiatives that allow direct interaction with visitors at the stand, demonstrate technological maturity and logistical feasibility, and are aligned with the key themes of the event, which range from technological innovation to entrepreneurship and social transformation.

The call for the Digital & DO Impact Italy’s Data-Driven Programme, a program aimed at social economy SMEs and support organizations who want to integrate digital tools and data-driven approaches into their operational and impact models.

The program, promoted in Italy by Torino Social Impact, Fondazione Piemonte Innova, and Politecnico di Milano – TIRESIA as part of the European DO Impact initiative, includes a series of thematic workshops (online and in-person) between March and July 2026. The training content covers digital transformation, strategic use of data, artificial intelligence, and social impact measurement.

Selected organizations will receive financial support to support their participation, including travel and accommodation reimbursements for in-person events.

Applications are now open for the WMF – We Make Future 2026 Startup Competition, the international competition for startups and innovative companies scheduled from June 24 to 26, 2026, at BolognaFiere, as part of the World Startup Fest.

The call is open to Italian and international companies developing technological and digital solutions in response to the main challenges of the future. Selected startups will have the opportunity to present their project to investors, venture capitalists, corporates, and international stakeholders, taking part in pitches, networking opportunities, and B2B meetings. A shortlist of six finalists will also compete on the Mainstage for the final prize.

The new cycle will open on Monday, February 17th at 6:30 pm at the Ramo D’Oro, with the aim of fostering dialogue, exchanging experiences, and creating connections between the various components of the local innovation scene.

The SME Fund 2026 is open until December 4, 2026. This program of the EUIPO – European Union Intellectual Property Office supports SMEs in the EU and Ukraine in protecting their intangible assets.

The fund operates through refund vouchers to cover part of expenses incurred for:

  • IP Scan and IP Analysis Services,

  • registration of trademarks and designs,

  • applications for patent,

  • protection of Community plant varieties.

Grants can cover up to approximately 75–90% of eligible costs and are awarded until funds are exhausted in chronological order of applications.
