UniTo’s portal for innovation
Innosfera is the platform curated by the Research, Innovation and Internationalization Directorate of the University of Turin to support the growth of innovation activities connected to the academic world. Through its channels, Innosfera selects and shares a wide range of development opportunities —organized by UniTo or emerging from the broader innovation ecosystem— addressing students, researchers, and the many actors of the economic and social system.
A tool for university research
Innosfera informs. Created as a newsletter for the university’s researchers, the project highlights funding opportunities, resources, and relevant initiatives to support and advance research activities — from international calls to events organized by partners and local organizations. A practical, cross-disciplinary tool to explore available opportunities and gain new skills and resources.
An enviroment for connecting research and industry
Innosfera connects. Through its updates and activities —which often involve the economic sector as well— the platform serves as a link between the university and companies, both large and small. Innosfera promotes opportunities for researchers to engage with industry, highlights the various collaboration possibilities offered by the university, and supports the transfer of technologies and knowledge developed at UniTo.
A space to explore UniTo’s commitment
Innosfera informs. The portal showcases the university’s various programs supporting innovation, organized directly by its offices. Initiatives range from guiding the most promising research projects toward European calls (EIC) to supporting crowdfunding campaigns and student challenges, where students and researchers tackle case studies proposed by companies and institutions.
In synergy with the ecosystem
Innosfera operates within UniTo’s wider innovation landscape. It is part of a collaborative network of public and private partners who share resources and knowledge, supporting companies with specialised services, training, and access to funding to help them innovate and grow locally and internationally.

Innosfera has a dual mission. It communicates to companies —large and small— private organizations, and institutions the competitive advantages of collaborating with UniTo research: an open world of partnerships, where knowledge and resources come together to drive the development of new solutions across multiple fields. At the same time, it promotes the culture and tools of entrepreneurship within the university, expanding the resources available to researchers and supporting the growth of startups, spin offs, and business projects.
