Start Cup Piemonte Valle d’Aosta 2026: two phases to transform innovative ideas into startups
Start Cup Piemonte Valle d’Aosta is back, the competition dedicated to the creation of innovative and high-knowledge startups promoted by Piedmontese and Aosta Valley university incubators as part of the National Innovation Award (PNI).
The initiative is aimed at students, researchers, spin-offs, early-stage startups, and aspiring entrepreneurs interested in developing innovative projects in the fields of ICT, life sciences, clean-tech, agrifood, advanced manufacturing, sustainability, and emerging technologies.
The 2026 edition is divided into two phases. The first, “Ideas Competition“, is dedicated to business ideas still in their early stages and will be open until June 16, 2026. The second phase, the “Business Plan Competition“, is aimed instead at more structured projects and complete business plans, with applications open from June 17 to July 28, 2026.
Participating teams will gain access to training, mentoring, and business development pathways, as well as cash prizes, support services, and networking opportunities with investors and innovation stakeholders. The best projects will also advance to the National Innovation Award (PNI).
